MY PSYCHOTHERAPY WORK WITH TEENAGERS AND YOUNG ADULTS

WHAT IS IT?

Moving from childhood to adulthood is often a rough road. It can become hard to make sense of yourself or the world around you. The stresses and strains of this time can lead to overwhelming feelings of isolation, confusion, anger, anxiety or depression. You may feel like you could be anything, or nothing, a leader or a nobody, the life and soul of the party or a hermit. You may suffer from a feeling of constantly being judged. Sometimes these feelings pass, sometimes they become entrenched.

Psychotherapy offers a thinking space where we can start to unpick what is happening in your world and in your self, a space to gain the insight and understanding that will steady your path, whatever you are struggling with..

MY WORK

A session lasts 50 minutes. It is a time to use however you want to – to talk or to be silent, to be creative or to be still, to have whatever feelings you’re having in a safe and confidential space, with your therapist alongside you.

Depending on what brings you to psychotherapy, we may meet for any where between 8 and 60 sessions, these will be once weekly at the same time, in the same place.
